Tennis, Pickleball and Multi-Purpose Courts

The Bob Anderson Courts (6 courts) are operated by the Town of Okotoks and are typically open from April through mid-October, weather permitting. Organized play at Bob Anderson Courts requires court bookings as per the Fees, Rates and Charges Bylaw. 

Free public drop-in for spontaneous play is permitted during drop-in times on select courts, which can be found at our drop-in schedule. To book outdoor courts for regular organized play, please contact Facility Booking by March 1. Additional bookings may be accepted after this date if time allocation is available. 

Court Hours 
Monday to Thursday: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. 
Friday and Sunday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

Pickleball Court Etiquette
We want all users to enjoy the courts and kindly ask that you follow these guidelines:

• The courts are for pickleball use only. 
• Courts 1 and 6 are available for public drop-in.
• During public drop-in, Paddles Up Play is in effect when players are waiting: paddles are stacked in groups of 4; the first stack of paddles gets the next open court. 
• Wait for players to finish their point before walking past or retrieving the ball. 
• Be courteous to others and surrounding residents by keeping noise levels down.

Pickleball Schedule
 

The courts at Hughes Park are managed by the Town of Okotoks and are lined for basketball, pickleball, and ball hockey. Posts and nets are not provided and users are encouraged to supply their own. Court availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Drop-in Schedule

For use of this facility, you must book in advance on activeokotoks.ca. All users must provide their own paddle and ball. Availability varies and is subject to change on short notice.

Usage Guidelines:

• Pre-registration required. You can book on-line up to 7 days in advance. 
• Participants must provide their own paddle and ball. 
• Courts are not for exclusive use, all participants attending must be included in play A rotation 
• Paddles Up Play system is in effect when all courts are in use: paddles are stacked in groups of 4; the first stack of paddles gets the next open court.
• No singles play when Paddles Up Play in effect 
• You can purchase a 10x Pickleball Pass from the Customer Experience Team – this is valid for Viking Rentals Centre pickleball only. 
• An annual or monthly facility pass valid for the Okotoks Recreation Centre is accepted for online bookings. 
• To use your 10x All-Facility pass, please call 403-938-8954 to register for a class. 
• Please note, class cancellation may occur on short notice.

The Tower Hill Tennis Courts (3 courts) are US Open standard and operated and managed by the Town of Okotoks, and are typically open from April through mid-October, weather permitting. Organized play at the Tower Hill Tennis Courts (101 Waldron Ave) requires court bookings as per the Fees, Rates and Charges Bylaw.

Free public drop-in for spontaneous play is permitted during drop-in times on select courts , which can be found on our drop-in schedule. To book outdoor courts for regular organized play, please contact Facility Booking by March 1. Additional bookings may be accepted after this date if time allocation is available.
